About the client
We are partnering with one of the leading technology providers for the healthcare industry in Germany, a company that digitises the way hospitals and clinics communicate with their patients.
The challenge
A hospital stay involves dozens of touchpoints: referrals, appointments, registration, care plans, and everything that happens on site. For patients, most of that is paperwork and uncertainty. The client wanted a single digital companion that guides people through their entire medical journey, and needed engineering capacity to build it to clinical-grade standards.
What we built
Our teams develop the online platform and the patient-facing mobile application at the centre of the product:
- Care plan access, so patients can check details of their treatment at any time.
- Appointment booking and digital hospital registration, replacing front-desk queues.
- In-hospital navigation that helps patients find their way through the building.
- Doctor search and consultation features connecting patients with the right specialists.
How we worked
Digital Colliers engineers work as an embedded part of the client's product organisation, covering UI/UX and development across web and mobile. Healthcare data imposes strict privacy requirements, so the work follows GDPR-compliant handling of patient information end to end.
The outcome
The platform is live and evolving, helping patients navigate their care digitally from the first appointment to discharge. The engagement is ongoing, with new features shipping to hospitals across the German market.
