About the client
BeFyrst is a European road freight operator moving goods across the continent, with dispatchers, drivers and freight clients coordinating shipments every day.
The challenge
The company ran on a patchwork of spreadsheets, phone calls and disconnected tools. Dispatchers had no live view of the fleet, compliance with EU tachograph regulations depended on manual checks, and clients had to call to find out where their shipment was. Financial operations, from invoicing to Polish KSeF e-invoicing requirements, lived in yet another set of tools.
What we built
BeFyrst ERP is a custom transport management platform that brings the whole operation into one system:
- Live fleet visibility for dispatchers, with orders, vehicles and drivers on one screen.
- Driver compliance features aligned with EU tachograph regulations.
- A self-service portal where freight clients track their own shipments in real time.
- A finance module covering revenue, receivables, payables and e-invoicing alerts in both euro and złoty.
How we worked
A compact team of three engineers designed and built the platform end to end, from UI/UX through deployment. The stack is deliberately lean: React on the front end with Supabase and Vercel, which keeps operating costs low and iteration fast for a business of this size.
The outcome
Dispatch, compliance, client communication and finance now run in one place instead of five. The engagement is ongoing, with the platform expanding module by module as the operation grows.
