3. Isar Aerospace reaches orbit from Andøya, ending Western Europe's launch drought

At 10:12 p.m. CEST on September 5, Isar Aerospace's Spectrum rocket lifted off from Andøya Space in northern Norway, crossed the Kármán line, completed a circularization burn, and deployed five cubesats plus a non-deployable scientific experiment into an orbit with an estimated 180 km perigee and 500 km apogee. It was Spectrum's second flight; the March 2025 debut failed within a minute due to a vent-valve anomaly and loss of attitude control.
